Terms and Conditions of Service
Holiday Rental Agreement
Please ensure that you consult these terms of service before engaging our services and that you understand these terms and conditions in relation to the service we provide - To contact us with any enquiries please see below on this page for various ways to contact us.
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the booking. Person making the booking must be 18 years old or over. Parties/Events are not allowed. No loud noises from guests or electronic devises of any kind after 10pm. All visitors must be pre-announced and pre-approved before allowed to enter the property. No excessive drinking or unruly behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest or invitee of a guest and do not take responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto the premises. Personal property shall include any personal effects, and motor vehicles parked on the premises. By choosing to book and stay, the guest authorises their credit card to be charged for any damages, incidental charges, loss of keys, late checkout fee, applicable smoking fees, pet fees and/or any other charges relating to their stay. We are NOT smoke or pet friendly.
Children up to and including 1 years old are welcomed to stay for free. Children from 2 to 17 years old incur AUD 25.00 per guest each booked night.
Check out time is strictly 10am on the day of departure. Guests who do not observe and respect the STRICT 10AM checkout time will be charged a nominated fee to cover costs of cleaner waiting and suites not being ready on time for the next arrival.
On the morning of departure, keys are to be dropped into the key return box located behind the main front door. Failure to return the keys will result in a $220 charge associated with calling out a locksmith to replace locks for the safety and security of our next arriving guests.
If the suite is not left in a clean and tidy manner upon checkout such as dirty dishes left out, excess rubbish, excess sand or dirty floors, moved or pulled apart furniture, stains, etc will result in a $75 cleaning fee.
By accepting these terms & conditions, booked guests consent and authorize their credit card to be charged for any damages to the premises, incidental charges, loss of keys, late checkout fee, applicable smoking fees, pet fees and/or any other charges relating to their stay at Sandstone Suite
Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not allowed. Parties/events are not allowed
Deposit Policy:
Discounts apply for cash payments on arrival (to avoid being charged bank surcharge fees of 2.95%), however this must be pre-advised via phone or email no later than 14 days prior to your arrival. If we are not notified by this date, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your stay and you forfeit your right to a discounted cash rate. Credit Card is held as security for bookings and incidentals and a pre-authorization may be processed (this is not a charge and just a temporary hold).
Cancellation Policy:
Sandstone Suites has a standard 2 week cancellation period with the exception of Christmas/Easter and special event long weekend periods where this is extended to 4 weeks. The extended 4 week cancellation period is applicable to the following dates/events - Between 24th December to 31st January and the weekend/week dates of the following events that fall on any given calendar year - Easter Long Weekend/Anzac Day Long Weekend/May Races Week/Kings Birthday Long Weekend/Footy Final Long Weekend/Melbourne Cup Long Weekend. Folk Festival Labour Day Long weekend is another exception and a 40% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and remainder balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival date.
Failure to provide the required notice for cancellations as per above will result in forfeiture of any paid amounts and you will be charged for the full amount of your booking agreement.
If no cancellation has been made and you fail to show up at the property, we will charge the full amount of the booking for each number of rooms booked.

We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information. What is Personal or Company Client Information and why do we collect it?
Personal or Company Client Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal or Company Client Information we collect include: names, email addresses, contact. This Personal or Company Client Information may be obtained in many ways including by automatic email transmission via your use of our service and software application. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties. We may collect your Personal or Company Client Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you. We may also use your Personal or Company Client Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our service and mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information. Sensitive information will be used by us only: • For the primary purpose for which it was obtained • For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose • With your consent; or where required or authorised by law.

However, most of the Personal Information is or will be stored in client files which will be kept by us for a minimum of 7 years.
